Flowers: vape or smoke?

Smoking weed can be done alone or shared as a meaningful way to socialize. Often, preparing the herb for ingestion is part of the fun, ritualistic, and social aspects of smoking.

Vaping, on the other hand, provides a more discreet experience than smoking, as it’s easy to hide and doesn’t smell the same as burnt flowers. Cannabis smoke produces a characteristic odor that lingers.

The two methods have important similarities and differences. Let’s start talking about the similarities:

1- In both the time of action is almost immediate. Between 3 and 5 minutes the patient can already feel the effects.

2- In these two forms of use, who controls the dose is the patient through the amount of inhalations (“puffs”).

3- It can be very useful for moments of pain, crisis, nausea, anxiety and even insomnia.

But then. What’s the difference?

Combustion, my friend. By vaporizing it is possible to control the temperature at which you heat your flowers, in this way the production of toxins is much lower. Smoking produces toxins like tar and ammonia, which can be very harmful to your body and health.

That’s why it’s always important to measure risks x benefits, seeking to reduce damage. And of course, be accompanied by a doctor who knows about it.
